I'm making a playlist for my friend Regina's bachelorette party & I'm already having fun. Artists include
Corey Heart (because I do wear my sunglasses at night)
Tears For Fears
Sting & The Police
and MORE Madonna
This pleases me. Anyone have other ideas?
But I wanna be in a flash mob! Hell I want to be hanging out somewhere randomly where one starts around me. Here's a good one at Gröna Lund amusement park in Stockholm. Those Swedes must be mighty cool.
Hehe, I like the little green monster child dancing at the end.

I'm really digging on this band Chaingang and am trying, TRYING to wait patiently for their EP to come out. Love the band, love the song. Here's Mike & Skarlett being weird & dancing to M.O.V.E.:
Silly silly Chaingang. You kinda rock my world.

The first song I heard by The Veronicas was '4Ever.' It's also the original song that got me into them a few years back in about 2006 0r 2007. It actually reminds me of a specific time in my life in 2007. In a way it got me through a rough time with a smile on my face. For that, and for the impressiveness of the song itself, I've always love the song.
Even though it was written years ago and was on their first album 'The Secret Life Of...' and not their latest Hook Me Up, it is their current single in the UK. Monday they released a new version of their video for '4Ever' which they just filmed this July. Enjoy the video. It's fun and will basically make you want to party with them. Great styling/hair/makeup in the video too.
"Come on baby we ain't gonna live forever! Let me show you all the things that we could do. I know you wanna be together, and I wanna spend the night with you!"
Unfortunately, I couldn't get the high quality video to work but here it is.

Here's Miles Fisher's video for the cover of 'This Must Be the Place.'
I'd call it mid-'90s meets 2009 meets scandal meets seks.
Hello 'American Psycho' in a dance song? Hello. Sidenote: that book really creeped me out but was way good. I still need to see the movie.

I JUST found out that "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Siebold is being made into a movie. "The Lovely Bones" is one of my fave books so I am way stoked right now. The trailer was just realeased yesterday I believe. It's directed by Peter Jackson of "The Lord of the Rings" movies. I didn't like those (don't hate, I just didn't) so I think this is an interesting choice. I do know that he could do very well with it though. I'm also not sure how I feel about Mark Wahlberg playing the father. Really? Really? Susan Sarandon will be fab though.
Can the movie hold up to the book? Check it out.
