As 2007 comes to an end...

Here is a little something about my life this year. It was a crazy rollercoaster of a ride for sure, but I loved it and the people that are in my life. This sums it up a bit. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you probably don't need to.

1) Where did you begin 2007?
Chicago! With some of the coolest people you'll ever meet, or never meet. Either way, it was a blast.

2) What was your status on Valentine's Day?
taken.

3) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Nope. Just done at the end of 2006.

4) How did you earn your money?
running shit

5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
not for myself but to see some people

6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
effing speeding ticket.

7) Where did you go on vacation?
Toronto a few times, Chicago a few times, Texas!

8) What did you purchase that was over $1000?
not one specific thing. I don't have that kind of cash.

9) Did you know anybody who got married?
sure: kara & matt and geoff & sarah

10) Did you know anybody who passed away?
yeah

12) Did you move anywhere?
The Centre! and I LOVE it, but I do miss Redwood, the people around, the proximity.

14) What concerts/shows did you go to?
-Taste of Chaos with Saosin, Evaline, Chiodos, some others, annnd 30 Seconds to Mars and The Used
-ACL & saw Muse, The National, Ben Kweller, Common, Bloc Party, Regina Spektor, Ziggy Marley, Decemberists, Bob Dylan...
-some of Tim & Ian's shows
-countless Roadhouse nights to see Tim / Bryan
-Their Teeth Will Be of Lions etc.
-this one band that i really like but forgot the name of
-Artios
-lots of local music
-others that i cannot remember

is that in depth enough for you? i can say it was fun trying to think of them all

16) Who did you want to win Big Brother?
That's even still on? Ew, no thanks.

17) Where do you live now?
Kalamazoo

18) Describe your birthday?
pretty ok. my boss got mad at me for losing my keys that day, then Fridays with friends one night, Shakespeare's another

19) What's one thing you thought you'd never do but did in 2007?
ahahahaha, ohhhh so many things. things i can say i probably won't do again and shall not be mentioned. but it was a crazy year and i had fun.

**20) What has been your favorite moment?
there isn't one, the little things, just being around my friends on a few occasions stand out, realizing that i could once again smile, putting my guard down after a very long time, the times when i looked around and realized that everything was perfect in that moment, the times when i really appreciated life, some times that i probably won't remember, being with the people i love and see every day, being with the people i love and rarely ever get to see. those are all my favorites.

**21) What's something you learned about yourself?
that i can take a bad situation, learn from it, and move on.
that i can forgive.
and that i lose my camera a lot.

22) Any new additions to your family?
nada

23.) What was your favorite month?
i'm thinking september was pretty spectacular

24.) What music will you remember 2007 by?
The Used - Lies are for the Liars album. My therapy for the year through the best and worst.

25) Who has been your best drinking buddy?
ummm, i don't know. actually, i'm sure it was bridget.

26) Made new friends?
si great ones

27) New best friend?.
not a replacement, but certainly a new addition

**28) Favorite Night out?
there are a few that stand out and probably even better ones that i can't think of, but here's what comes to mind (and pretty much in chronological order cuz i'm weird like that):
-nights of the first Toronto trip
-drunk sledding nights
-the night of faisal's bday/going away party
-a night spent lying in bed, talking for hours
-that night over the summer when it was just the crew all hanging out at steve's, watched the sun come up, helmets were involved
-that night when bridget, emily, and i went over to tim's really late and then we all went for a walk to the park and sat on the playground and by the river and talked about life and told ghost stories and got creeped out
-one night at my cottage around the 4th of July, rain
-murder mountain night with tim, kyle, bridget,& rob, etc.
-this one crazy night with steve and joe hanging out at their apts. (but i did not enjoy work the next morning)
-the whole sunday day/night in Austin at ACL & in town
-one of the nights up north with steve & alex
-nights spent in just chilling with friends talking, laughing, watching movies, just having an all around good time.
-all of these brightened my life this year

MY 2007 AWARDS

1) DRINKING BUDDY OF THE YEAR
I'd have to say Bridget. Everything from drunk sledding to going out before we have to work the next morning too many times to playing beer pong with a bitch ass stripper and even a recent one, red bull and vodka night before a big interview the next morning (definitely worth it).

2) LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD (longest friend)?
That'd be Regina. "I'll go wherever you will go..."

3) NEWCOMER AWARD - COOLEST NEWEST FRIEND?
newest and coolest is Chadderr

3) HIGH POINT OF THE YEAR?
Rockstar Week? It was insane.

4) LOW POINT OF THE YEAR?
May.

5) BEST HOLIDAY?
St. Patty's was pretty sweet, and Halloween is always my fave. They tie this year. (I think Eccentric Night should be a holiday.)

6) YOUR SONG FOR 2007
Liar Liar! and Misery Business, you know.

7) MOVIE FOR 2007?
Bourne Ultimatum because it was awesome and going to see it was kind of a turning point in an important relationship of mine.

10) WHO DID YOU SPEND VALENTINES WITH?
that one guy Steve.

11) BEST RELATIONSHIP?
it had ups and downs, but Steve. also the relationships with my friends really win out though for the whole year.

12) WHAT WERE YOU FOR HALLOWEEN?
a cowgirl for two nights and then the best idea of all, Sarah Silverman on actual Halloween

13) RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR?
Roadhouse, DUH

14) KISS OF THE YEAR?
Scandal! what's new? rain, 4th of july-ish

15) BEST DECISION MADE THIS YEAR?
going after what i want
standing up for myself
staying in kalamazoo
not moving to ireland or home

16) WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR NEXT YEAR?
get my job for real
go on a 2 month vacation to europe
live at my aunt & uncle's apt in paris for a while

17) MOST STUPID IDEA WHEN DRUNK?
haha, sleeping in my car in the redwood parking lot. long story.

18) TV SHOW OF THE YEAR?
right now it's Kid Nation, but LOST takes the award

19) MOST LOYAL FRIEND?
the two people that were there for me at every moment, i owe them hugely: Bridget & Emily.

20) BIGGEST CHANGE OF THE YEAR?
not being with someone
being with someone
not going to school anymore

21) BIGGEST DOUCHE AWARD?
since i'm not as cool as Jess in my anti-haterade, i AM going to mention someone: CAKE, and Carbs takes a close second and is moving closer and closer
